Nigel Farage Claims Teachers of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Racial Topics

The political figure stated that educators would initiate walkouts within weeks a success at the polls for his party, accusing them of “poisoning our kids” by telling children that African-Caribbean youth are oppressed and Caucasian students are perpetrators.

During an event for a private US Christian college, the politician expressed his viewpoint on British schools, claiming that the “radical left-wing” had “taken over schooling”.

“I’m anticipating a walkout by educators soon after securing a victory,” he remarked in response to questions.

“They are corrupting young minds. They are telling them to be ashamed of their country. They are telling an eight-year-old black child that he is oppressed and a white child of the same age that he is an oppressor. They are dividing us, not uniting us. They are feeding this harmful mindset.”

Reacting to Farage’s claims, the head of a major education union dismissed the idea that the schools were under Marxist influence as “nonsense”. Kebede noted that industrial action must relate to educators’ working conditions, and doubted whether the party would target these immediately upon entering government.

“Farage has built his political career on coded rhetoric and currently, similar to other figures, he is lining up teachers and their organizations for a fight,” Kebede stated.

“This is highly reckless. Neither I nor our union – push critical race theory as he claims … Should he become prime minister he would undermine state services, including education … and the outcome would be catastrophic for students and learning.”

Reform, which is leading the polls by a significant margin, has provided limited specifics on a proposed education policy and does not appear to have designated an education lead.

However, Farage’s remarks suggested the party would overhaul the educational framework. Farage declared: “We face an enormous task with education – truly monumental. Moreover, we can’t do it in six months or a year; it requires years, a long-term effort to reform.”

He stated that younger generations are receptive to critical thinking, but millennials were “absolutely hopeless”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, he commented: “My goal for schooling is to foster independent thought – to educate individuals that there are two points of view and you make up your own mind rather than current practices where views are labeled good or bad. This is a huge undertaking in the UK and US.”

Reform has previously clashed with the UK’s largest teaching union, after Kebede called the party “extremist and prejudiced” and dismissed Farage as “a cheap imitation”.

The politician has charged the union head with being “a self-declared Marxist” … someone who is absolutely determined that our children should be poisoned through education, their minds should be poisoned regarding national issues” and maintained that the union is trying to indoctrinate youth opposed to his party.

Almost one million people are employed in education in the UK, with educators comprising half and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has about 450,000 members.

National strikes over teacher pay and conditions in recent years caused widespread disruption in educational institutions and extensive missed instruction for students.

During the American gathering, the Reform leader also vowed to promote the online educational material of the Christian college in the UK. He stated such groups were “part of the fightback”, adding that: “I am serious. I’ll assist attract vast numbers of youth to your online courses. I make that commitment tonight and I will follow through.”

The college, a religious educational establishment, provides complimentary classes. Its website states: “A scientific, literary, theological, political, and moral education is vital for well-being and to maintain the benefits of civil and religious liberty. The college furnishes these excellent programs for no charge to every interested learner.”
