Miami recorded 86 first-half points against the Memphis Grizzlies
Miami Heat earned a decisive 146-114 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in their first NBA game after player Terry Rozier was arrested for alleged illegal sports betting.

However, the Heat were focused as they put up eighty-six first-half points to be ahead of Memphis by thirty-nine after two quarters, the largest half-time advantage in the franchise's 37-year existence.
Adebayo led the way with 24 points and later said Terry had the support of the team.
"We stand behind him. Full support," Bam said. "You support him through and through. He's like family ultimately."
Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra added: "Rozier is a person who is very dear to everyone. He has made a beneficial influence on our team.
"We send our thoughts and our care for him as he goes through the situation."
The Trail Blazers also secured their first game after the arrests, with Brazilian Tiago Splitter taking over as temporary head coach in Billups' non-attendance and leading the team to a convincing 139-119 win against the Golden State Warriors.
"We all had positive times with Billups and how he coached," Tiago said. "Our thoughts are with him and his loved ones but our focus is on the game."
Speaking about the detentions for the initial occasion, NBA commissioner Adam Silver stated he was "deeply disturbed" by the incidents of the recent days.
"Nothing is more critical to the NBA and supporters than the fairness of the game," he informed Amazon Prime. "And so I felt uneasy. It was disturbing."
The commissioner also mentioned an league probe into Rozier's conduct in spring 2023, when there was "unusual wagering" in a match he played for the Charlotte Hornets versus the New Orleans Pelicans, found nothing untoward.
"We were informed by the regulators and the gambling firms," he added.
"We investigated that situation and were very transparent regarding it. And while there was the unusual wagering, we, honestly, found no evidence.
"The federal government has subpoena power... [it] can threaten to put people in jail, can do all kinds of things that the league office is unable to.
"Therefore, we've been cooperating from that point. Naturally, what they revealed yesterday was an charge.
"Moreover two and a half years later, he has not been found guilty of anything, in fairness to Rozier.
"Clearly, it doesn't look good, but he's been put on administrative leave, and so it is a compromise in this case between protecting people's rights and investigating."
